Oh happy day!

Friday was the day we had to have all lecture fees paid and a certain amount of our outreach fees were due in order to buy plane tickets for outreach. Some of my team members did not have all their money in. Our DTS got together to see how much was still needed, and it was amazing to see $16,000 donated in less than half an hour. Almost everyone got all their fees completely paid off. There are still a couple people who need to raise a few hundred dollars. It was amazing to see God provide for my teammates. It was also amazing to see students who don’t have very much be willing to give what they have in order to help their friends have the opportunity to go on outreach. I’ve been learning that to whom much is given, much is expected. I have been blessed so much financially, with a very supportive family, and with this opportunity at YWAM, that I feel much will be required of me. I have learned that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Giving financially, and encouraging and sharing with others blesses not only the receiver, but also the giver.
