In Christ

Remain in Me and I will remain in you… (John 15) Without Jesus, I can do nothing. My efforts and striving towards righteousness in my own feeble efforts will get me nowhere. But I know that Jesus Christ, the hope of glory, dwells in me. I am in Christ because I have been crucified with Christ, adopted as His daughter, and brought into the very near presence of Abba Father. I have counted the cost, repented and turned from the ways of my flesh, and have been possessed by the all-consuming burning fire of the Holy Spirit. Jesus purchased everything I need for life and godliness on the cross. I have full confidence in this because it is in His Word. He said it and He cannot lie. I cling to His promises and claim my inheritance.

When we put off the old self and are clothed in Christ, He promises that:

1.     We will bear much fruit (John 15:5)
2.     We will be made alive to God (Romans 6:11; 1 Cor. 15:31)
3.     There will be no more condemnation hanging over our lives (Romans 8:1)
4.     We will be made free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2)

6.     We will have access to the Wisdom, the Righteousness, the Sanctification, and the Redemption of God (1 Cor. 1:30)
7.     All the Promises of God will be “Yes” and “Amen” to us (2 Cor. 1:20)
8.     Our spiritual lives will be established and anointed (2 Cor. 1:21)
9.     We will be led forth in triumph (2 Cor. 2:14)
10. He will diffuse through out lives the fragrance of His knowledge in every place (2 Cor. 2:14)
11. The veil that shrouds our spiritual sight will be taken away (2 Cor. 3:14)
12. We will become new creations, all things will become new (2 Cor. 5:17)
13. The complexities of life will be made simple (2 Cor. 13:4, Eph. 1:19-20)
14. We will from henceforth live by the power of God (2 Cor. 13:4, Eph. 1:19-20)
15. We will have an astounding liberty to now do that which is right (Gal. 2:4)
16. We will become sons of God (Gal. 3:26)

21. We will be made to know the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us (Eph. 2:7)
22. We will have works prepared beforehand for us to walk in (Eph. 2:10)
23. We will be brought intimately near into His very presence, and we will have boldness and confidence in our approach unto His Throne (Eph. 2:13; 3:12)
24. We will become the very temple of the Lord, the very dwelling place of God (Eph. 2:21-22)
25. We, the Gentiles, will become fellow heirs and partakers of the promises (Eph. 3:6)
26. We will have power to rejoice (Phil. 3:3)
27. We will have a prize set before us of the upward call of God (Phil. 3:14)
28. We will have access into all the fullness of God (Col. 1:19;2;9)
29. We will be clothed in His Perfection (Col. 1:28)
30. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge will be made available to us (Col. 2:3)
31. We will abound in thanksgiving (Col. 2:7)
32. We will be made complete (Col. 2:10)
33. We will be circumcised from the sins of the flesh (Col. 2:11)

38. We will have salvation (2 Tim. 2:10)

43. We will not sin (1 John 3:6)
44. Anything we ask according to His will, He will hear us (1 John 5:14)
45. We will know Him (1 John 5:20)
46. We will know His Great Mystery that has been hidden for ages and generations

We must be in Christ to get to the Father. Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. His truth is found in His Word. He is unchanging, always has been, always will be. He is the solid rock upon which we stand and will not be shaken. He is our help in times of need. He is with us, and if we cry out to Him in our conviction and turn from our sins into alignment with Him, not because we can get something out of it but simply because He is worthy, then we have the privilege of entering into partnership with the Living God. May the Lamb who was slain receive the reward of His suffering. He is worthy of it all. Jesus, move on hearts to cry out to you for deliverance and face the sin in our life and be rid of it and be filled with Your Spirit and walk in Christ and love your ways because they are the only way to Life. Come Lord Jesus.
