The Almighty Defense

…The intercessor’s armor: Ephesians 6… Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, and against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore put on the full armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

If we want to be unwavering and unshakable in our faith, we need to clothe our self in the power of God and the might He provides us with. We have no power of our own. We are weak. But we can take heart and have sure confidence when (and only when) we are in Christ Jesus. He provides us the weaponry, everything we need to stand and be victorious, and to overcome the powers of this dark world and the schemes of the enemy. When we stand in Him, we are victorious because HE is our VICTOURIOUS WARRIOR. It is not by my strength nor by my power, but by HIS SPIRIT. He is my refuge and strength always. I can stand in the power and authority of the Almighty when I am in Christ Jesus.

Jesus in my Intercessor. He intercedes for me at the right hand of the Father. He was made naked that we might be clothed. His heart was broken that ours might become the dwelling place of God. He washed our feet and submitted His feet unto defamation that our feet might be shod with iron and bronze. His head became the brunt of cruel and savage taunt that mine might bear the wreath of Christ-endued authority. His hands were bludgeoned with nails that ours might take hold of the promises of heaven. He was struck upon the cheek and His mouth touched with vinegar that our mouths might bear the Word of God and wield the Almighty sword of the Spirit. He interceded for us in order that we might become His mighty intercessors.

I’m walking as an ambassador of Christ. I have been given a crown of authority, though I cast it down at His feet. I am sealed in Him. I am made to be a partaker of His nature. He enables me to carry His burdens. He wants to send me out to represent Him on this earth. Walk in the defense of Jesus – reckon it everyday. He wants to awaken YOU to a Life in Him.
