Grace: The power of God at work in our life to enable us to
walk in holiness and integrity, and love others well.
Learning to grow in grace. It’s a thing - especially in
those in-between seasons of life when plans shift (you know, that awkward
moment between life and death… haha). “In their hearts humans plan their
course, but the Lord establishes their steps” (Prov. 16:9). God is after a
heart that is fully in love with Him, even through times of discomfort and
uncertainty. Serving God, no matter how small our efforts seem to be, and no
matter what nation we are in, is always a great privilege. Jesus relates to us
in our times of sorrow and times of joy, as He walked with humanity from a
manger to a cross – He celebrated at weddings, and He anguished over those who
did not understand truth. The secret to true contentment and great joy is: God
with us. We can always find reason to hope when we remember the beauty of who
God is and the freedom that is found in Christ who welcomes us to come to Him
just as we are, that He may continue the good work He started in us. God is
moving greatly all over the world to bring His people joy and freedom! I have
gotten to witness this as I have learned from countless unsung heroes all over
the world, in the darkest of places, the beauty of a life spent for the sake of
the Gospel. May we never lose the wonder of the purchase of the cross.
